$75K in Damage after Patterson Club Vandalized

A trail of beer cans leading from the club's golf course to Coventry Road has provided police with some leads.

A trail of Bud Light cans leading from the onto North Banks Road and ending at Coventry Road has provided police with evidence behind the vandalism to the club's golf course, which occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and early Tuesday.

According to the course's superintendent, greens 8, 9, and 14 were damaged by golf carts being driven over them; golf carts were found in the water on the course, beer cans were littered all over the place, and garbage cans were overturned throughout the course.

The damage is estimated at $75,000. Police are investigating.

The owner of a Ford Taurus reported to police late Monday that he was driving down Mill Plain Road when the Wrangler appeared and its occupants threw eggs at the complainant's Taurus.

Police are investigating.

The concession stand on the track at was reported broken into on Tuesday, police said.

A man running on the track noticed the window to the concession stand had been smashed and reported it to police early Tuesday.

The damage to the large window is estimated at $500. Candy was reported missing from the stand.
