$940 in Shrubbery Stolen from Fairfield Home

A Pequot Avenue resident reported to police on Wednesday that four shrubs had been stolen from her yard.

According to the report, the nursery in charge of landscaping her year conducted an inventory of shrubs waiting to be planted and found that four were missing from the day prior. The shrubs cost $235 each.

Poolside furniture was reportedly stolen from a home on Wellington Avenue sometime in the past two weeks, police said.

The resident reported that six of her poolside Adirondack chairs were missing, as well as a chaise lounge and the propane tank from a gas grill. The loss totaled approximately $600, police said.

This is under investigation.

A mail carrier discovered a baggie with marijuana in a Park Avenue resident’s mailbox on Wednesday, police said.

Police determined 1.3 grams of pot was in the bag. This is under investigation.
