- Rebirth Brass Brand – A Mardi Gras Celebration! 8 p.m., Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts, $35. This band’s signature brand of heavy funk has become the soundtrack to all of New Orleans.
- Bridgeport Theatre Company Presents: “The Laramie Project”: 8 p.m., The Bridgeport Theatre Company (263 Golden Hill Street, Bridgeport), $23 for adults, $18 for students/seniors. “The Laramie Project” was inspired by the brutal killing of a young gay man, Matthew Shepard, in 1998.

- Community Supported Agricultural Discussion: 2 p.m., Fairfield Woods Branch Library, free. Patti Popp, owner of Sport Hill Farm in Easton, will talk about Community Supported Agriculture (CSAs) and how they benefit our local community.
- Heart of Hope Champagne & Chocolate Tasting for Operation Hope: 5:30 p.m., Burr Homestead, $75 per person; $125 for a couple. It’s a sweet way to celebrate Valentine’s weekend...sampling delicious chocolates and fabulous champagnes while enjoying great music in the beautifully decorated Burr Mansion. All proceeds benefit Operation Hope's efforts to end local homelessness.
- Rainbow Healing Circle: 5:30 p.m., Finding Feathers, $25. This is an Aromatherapy and Energy Treatment used during a guided relaxation and meditation to restore the natural flow of energy in the body.
- Broadway Sings the Blues: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., First Church Congregational, $20 for adults; $10 for seniors and students. "Broadway Sings The Blues" brings together the talents of Joe Utterback and singers Carol and Tom Woodman to perform well-known Broadway songs from the great American musical theatre tradition. All three of these Fairfield County residents have performed on the world stage as well as locally.
- A Night at the Opera With the American Chamber Orchestra: 8 p.m., First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield, $15 for adults; $10 for students. The American Chamber Orchestra under Music Director Christopher James Hisey presents its Winter Concert, “A Night at the Opera.”

Funds raised support Mercy Learning Center of Bridgeport, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing literacy, adult basic education, ESL, GED, and life skills to over 500 women each year in the greater Bridgeport area.
