- Bridgeport Theatre Company Presents: “The Laramie Project”: 8 p.m., The Bridgeport Theatre Company (263 Golden Hill Street, Bridgeport), $23 for adults, $18 for students/seniors. “The Laramie Project” was inspired by the brutal killing of a young gay man, Matthew Shepard, in 1998.

- Writers Workshop - How to Get Published: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Fairfield Public Library Rotary Room, free. This event was rescheduled due to the Jan. 21 snowstorm. Short story writer Tessa Smith McGovern will host the workshop.
- Restorative Yoga – Shanti Patha: 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m., Yoga for Everybody, $50. “Shnati Patha” means “A Calling Out for Peace.” Learn to practice yoga to alleviate suffering in the body, heart, and mind.
