Money was a two-time captain at Warde, earning all-FCIAC honorable mention honors once in his career. He also is ranked third in the state in wrestling as a heavyweight and earned FCIAC honorable mention honors in that sport as a sophomore and junior.
"CCSU is a great school, and a great fit for what I was looking for in a college,"
Money said.

The Notre Dame of Fairfield boys hockey team recorded a huge win Wednesday, surprising West Haven 4-3 to keep alive its state tournament hopes.
Frank Zumbo, Dave Canfarotta, C.J. Litwin and Greg Ferris each scored for the Lancers, who improved to 5-8. They need to win three of their remaining seven games to qualify for postseason play.
Austin Hansen scored two goals and Jason Puleo aded one for the Blue Devils, who dropped to 8-4.
Scott Kline made 29 for the Lancers and Forest Schell stopped 33 shots for the Blue Devils.
It was the second straight win for interim Notre Dame of Fairfield head coach Steve Hetherman, who earned his first victory with last Saturday's 8-2 romp over Conard.

Fresh off its victory in the Jesuit Shootout, the Fairfield Prep hockey team returned to state competition Wednesday and blanked Xavier 4-0 at the Wonderland of Ice.
Connor Henry, A.J. Unker, David White and Evan Antisdale scored for the Jesuits, who improved to 12-2 overall, including 10-0 against state foes. It was Fairfield Prep's eighth consecutive victory

Kevin Robinson and Dan Silvestri each scored two goals Wednesday, leading the Fairfield boys hockey team to a 6-2 victory over Staples at the Wonderland of Ice.
Coming off a more-than-respectable effort in a 3-2 loss to second-ranked Ridgefield on Saturday, the Mustangs trailed 2-1 after two periods on Wednesday.
However, they erupted for five unanswered goals in the final period to improve to 5-6.
Tyler Demilt added a goal and an assist for the Mustangs, who need three wins to qualify for the Division II state tournament.
Forrest Savage scored both goals for the Wreckers, who have decimated by injuries and dressed just 10 skaters - plus two goaltenders. They still took a 2-1 lead into the third period.
Fairfield quickly erased the deficit by scoring twice in the first two minutes of the third period.
Staples suffered its fifth straight loss and dropped to 6-6.
