Igor, a stick of dynamite leaves a pretty good crater. M-80s (not legal in many years, but stillRead Morepop up) are very, very loud. There are new salutes made now as well that are much louder than what was for sale years ago. There are key differences between high explosives (dynamite) and low explosives (fireworks). But, simply, high explosives break windows, low explosives shake windows, regardless of how loud either is. I agree, loud stuff this year. Living next to public space, with a baby, it's a hassle. But I love America too, and don't want to rain on anyone else's parade or method of celebration. Frankly, I don't see how the police are going to catch anyone that sets them off unless they are setting them off in the same place continuously. Further, what will they do when they arrive? They certainly aren't pyrotechnic experts. Should they carry forensic kits to determine whether residues are nitro glycerine or flash powder based? All they can do is yell at people, maybe write a ticket if they witness something directly. Fairfield Police already have a serious problem with public relations. Let's not encourage them to continue to escalate situations; they do far too much of that already. Also, happy Independence Day Igor! I hope you are enjoying this morning as much as I am. The weather is beautiful, and all is quiet (around here anyway) as the revelers sleep off yesterday's shenanigans.

It's a great day living in the greatest country in the world (yes we have problems, but it's stillRead Moreb etter than any other country). Actually I'm a little grumpy today. I was up late last night waiting for the explosions to stop. I just want a little consideration for others. Whether it's fireworks, driving, taking misbehaving children to restaurants. I think after 11:00 pm is a little late to be setting them off. This was the same house, night after night every year. It lights up the sky.

Don't stop at commercial signs, get rid of the tag sale sign. Some have been up for weeks. TheRead Moreaddre ss is right there so it won't be too hard to find them. They blow off the poles and litter all over. BTW will this include the political signs that pop up before elections?

We went to see "America, Imagine the World Without Her" yesterday. It was both inspiringRead Morea nd highly educational, with beautiful cinematography of our national parks, monuments and stunning scenes from "sea to shining sea." From the unique perspective of a legal immigrant and citizen, Dinesh D'Souza, one can learn much as well as become more aware of and grateful for the blessings of being an American.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We were also educated as to some of the threats to our Nation, and our Liberties, from sources within our boundaries. Those threats include people such as Bill Ayers, and the specious and incomplete 'history' of our nation, taught in our public schools, from the textbook by Communist Howard Zinn.

D'Souza's "2016: Obama’s America" is now the world’s #2 top grossingRead Moredocumenta ry of all time, for good reason--after the devastation wreaked upon our Nation by the disastrous current occupant of the WH.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------D'Souza's "America: Imagine the World Without Her" has gross Box Office receipts of over 4 Million $$ in the first 3 DAYS, just through Friday.
