Our shop is filled to the brim with distinctive, off-beat merchandise that you won't find anywhere else! For the home, we have a large selection of embroidered pillows, cozy throws, vibrantly patterned curtains and tin-made inspirational words. Our wall mirrors and clocks are made from recycled bike chains and record albums. Our stained glass lighting is in the shape of frogs, monkeys, crabs and guitars.
If you are looking for a personal gift to fit any occasion you'll find a wide variety of locally made jewelry, belts and accessories crafted by area artists Sarah Dzilinski, Lia Grambs, Toni Cribari, Laura Sunshine, Fran Cefalu and Lisa Leto. Their work highlights semi-precious stones, sea glass, czech crystals, moon stones, sterling silver - all handmade, all gorgeous and one of a kind!
Our belief in promoting artists from all corners of the world is evident in the wide variety of Fair Trade items we carry, from Nepal to Thailand to Indonesia. Supporting Fair Trade is a foundation of the Hazel Daze philosophy. We choose Fair Trade first, as these beautiful and unique creations are produced in positive working conditions and in an environmentally conscientious manner. "Fair Trade is a system focused on alleviating global poverty and promoting sustainability through ethical global trade. By supporting Fair Trade products, we are taking a step toward making the world a better place".Our mission is to help the world a little at a time. For more resources, please visit http:/http://www.fairtradefederation.com/
Since our inception, we have supported local non-profit organizations. Our goal is to sponsor a charity give-back once a month, offering an evening of wine and cheese while you shop. A percentage of all sales will be donated to a cause. Some awesome organization we have supported are:Celtic Knots Fundraiser for Breast Cancer, Child Advocates of CT, Great Beginnings Montessori School, Junior Achievement, St Ann Elementary School, The Big Score, The Jamie A. Hulley Arts Foundation, The Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center, Wakeman Boys and Girls Club and Wildlife in Crisis.

Starting in the Fall, local artist Gail Bell, http://www.gailbellart.com/, will hold Paint and Sip's on select Thursday evenings at Hazel Daze. "Learn to explore the creative process. Using Big, Bright, Bold colors. Embrace your inner artist in a fun, stress free way." Sign up as a group or solo and let the good times roll. Absolutely no experience necessary!
