Katoya Day Camp has a variety of fun and challenging activities like swimming, jewelry making, nature discovery, and hiking for all girls in grades K-12! Bus service is available for day campers in Fairfield from Fairfield Woods School and Riverfield School.
The camp, located on 57 acres of woodlands and two small ponds in Milford, operates Monday through Friday, beginning on June 25, and will be on open on the Fourth of July.
The two week sessions from July 23-August 1 features an assortment of astronomy programs for girls of all ages. Space is the Place (for girls in grades 1-3) teaches youngest campers how to tell time by the stars, have fun with gravity, and create art with moon sand. Discovering Astronomy (for girls in grades 4 and up) is for older campers to discover constellations in the night sky, while using GPS units to discover galaxy boxes.
