The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Command Center will re-open its temporary office at the Fairfield Senior Center, 100 Mona Terrace, for any Fairfield resident or business affected by Storm Sandy.
The temporary Center will be open Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 12 pm to 8 pm. Starting on Monday, November 19, 2012, the Center will be open Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm until further notice. The Center will be closed on Sundays and on Thanksgiving Day.
FEMA will keep this Center open as long as needed. The public will be contacted when FEMA closes the Center.
It is important that people who wish to file with FEMA do so before visiting the Center so they can bring a FEMA claim number with them to the Center. To file with FEMA, residents can go online to www.disasterassistance.gov or call 1-800-621-3362.
