Junior Bowler Shoots 715 Series (238.3 avg) at Nutmeg Bowl!

Junior Bowlers - Summer Program - Week 5 Results:

Congrats to T.J. Copeland for a great 715 series this week! Games of 245, 212 and 258 put T.J.'s series 139 pins over average. Andrea Rapoza put together a big 137 game, beating her 71 average by 66 pins! That's a big improvement! Niya Purefoy bested her 141 average by 78 pins with games of 183 and 174: Two very solid games.

High games this week: T.J. Copeland's had the two highest games this week. Awesome performance! Howard Austin put together a solid 236 game and then 2nd highest series with a 577. Nick Ferrante had the 3rd highest series with 574 and a solid 209 game. Nick also has the most % improvement over his winter league average so far, with a 23% jump. 

We welcome two new bowlers to the league: Look for the Kaczynski sisters and say hello, they will be bowling with Hope Yaworowski. 

The highest average girls bowlers are: Tiffany Nixon 154, Samanta Black & Kayla Nixon 143. The highest average boys bowlers are: Mike Bonis with 196, T.J. Copeland with 192 and Cole Vaporis with 190. 

A great week of bowling! We are so proud of the great successes everyone is achieving. Keep working on your challenging spares and practice them whenever possible. Come out to CLINIC on Wednesday's from 4-6PM with Coaches Chris Forry and Tim West (TW on vacation the week of July 7). 

The 12-week season ends finishes off with a tournament on the 13th week for sponsor-backed scholarship funds for those who bowl 9 of the 12 weeks of league.  Over $25,000 in scholarship funds have been donated so far through the program.  Come out and join us on Monday nights at 6PM @ Nutmeg Bowl and learn to bowl from professional coaches.
