10th Week In the Teen’s Division (Youth 13-20):  This week the 27 junior bowlers were put to the challenge on a difficult USBC OPEN 2011 pattern used at Nationals.  19 bowlers scored over their average and 7 had 500+ series.  4 bowlers shot games over 200!  The Most pins over average goes to Tiffany Nixon with 80 pins and with a nice high game of 200!  High game honors go to Jonathan Lam with a monster 250 game!   Jonathan Lam is also the 2nd highest pins over average with a solid 67 pins.  Kyle Medina was right behind with 65 pins over and a nice 189 game.  Overall the average for the league was 149 versus a house shot average at 170.   Low scores is a sign that you are working on your games by challenging yourselves.  Keep up the good work!

10th Week In the USA-10’s Division (Youth 5-13):  Of 22 bowlers present, 14 bowled over their average for the week and 5 bowled 50 or more pins over their average.  6 bowled games of at least 140.  Max Rosenberg had the most pins over average with +83.  Jeremy Stewart had a nice 409, +67 pins over his average.  Andrea Rapoza had 62 pins over her average.  Overall, a nice 109 average this week versus 95 average for the season (for those who bowled).  Well done Junior Bowlers!  Keep up the good work!!

We are proud to offer generous scholarship funds to promote excellence in athletics and the mastery of a competitive sport.  The great achievement that comes from dedicated practice and concentrated effort is possible for all.  Bowlers receive professional instruction during and after league in a 60-minute clinic at 11AM and also in a 90-minute clinic on Wednesday’s at 4PM.  Bowlers who participate in all but 3 weeks also earn scholarship funds for grades in school, perfect attendance and pins-over-average in the final tournament of each season.  Thanks to our generous donors who provide over $10,000 in scholarship funds each year.
