TRUMBULL'S ATTY. KOHN OPENS OFFICE IN FAIRFIELD

The new office, at 2000 Post Rd., Suite 200, Fairfield, “will increase our ability to assist clients in Fairfield with all types of real estate transactions,” Atty. Kohn said.  The firm’s primary office is in Trumbull at 814 White Plains Rd.

Kohn has been helping clients with real estate closings and a host of related issues for more than 13 years.

“With home mortgage rates remaining low and many people beginning to feel more comfortable about an improvement in the economy, we are starting to see an upswing in the real estate market,” Kohn said.  “Prices in some areas are beginning to inch upwards and home buyers seem to be entering the market after a long while of remaining on the sidelines.”

“As the employment picture in Fairfield County improves, there will be a corresponding gain in the real estate market,” she said.  “Of course, the excessive heat we experienced at the beginning of July tended to keep people in their air conditioning rather than out looking at new homes.  Nevertheless, we are anticipating a nice bump in the market in the weeks and months ahead.”

“We opened the new office in Fairfield to be better positioned to help both buyers and sellers in that area as well as surrounding towns,” she said.  “This new office will help speed the process for many people, allowing us to provide the same level of personal attention that our clients in the Trumbull area have come to expect.”

Kohn, a Fairfield resident, was named a “Rising Young Star” by Connecticut Magazine in 2010, and “Outstanding Young Lawyer” by New England Super Lawyers.  In 2007, she was an award recipient in the Fairfield County Business Journal’s “40 under 40.”  She is licensed to practice in Connecticut and at the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Kohn’s undergraduate degree is from the University of Central Florida and her law degree is from Quinnipiac University.  She can be reached at 203-452-8895.
