Budgeting and Couponing: Experts Sharing Tips at Senior Center

Terry Giegengack, Director of Human and Social Services, announced today that the Fairfield Senior Center will hold a series of workshops on Budgeting and Couponing.  

The dates are Thursday, March 6, and Thursday, April 3. The workshops will run from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, 100 Mona Terrace, Fairfield. Both workshops are free of charge.

The presenter for the first session will be Ms. Liz Krebs, Financial Education Specialist from FSW, Inc., a human service organization in Bridgeport, who will present how to create and follow a budget. 

On April 3, a Fairfield resident and owner of Frugal Fairfield, Ms. Marilyn-Zelinsky-Syarto, has volunteered to join the group for an in-depth look at how to improve the use of coupons.
