A press release from the Fairfield Senior Center:

Terry Giegengack, Director of Human and Social Services, announced today that the Fairfield Senior Center will hold a series of workshops on Budgeting and Couponing.

The dates are Thursday, March 6, and Thursday, April 3. The workshops will run from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, 100 Mona Terrace, Fairfield. Both workshops are free of charge.

The presenter for the first session will be Ms. Liz Krebs, Financial Education Specialist from FSW, Inc., a human service organization in Bridgeport, who will present how to create and follow a budget.

On April 3, a Fairfield resident and owner of Frugal Fairfield, Ms. Marilyn-Zelinsky-Syarto, has volunteered to join the group for an in-depth look at how to improve the use of coupons.

“In today’s economic climate, this information can make a big difference when so many people are looking to stretch their money as far as it can go," Giegengack said.

Please call 203-256-3166 and reserve your seat for these workshops.
