Celebrate 'Solarize Fairfield' Saturday
Fairfield Woods Middle School is hosting a celebration from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Fairfield Woods Middle School will host a celebration Saturday to recognize the success of the recent "Solarize Fairfield" program.
All 853 students and their families have been invited cto participate in the New England Smart Energy Group event and the public is welcome to attend, too. The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Fairfield Woods Middle School gym.
Astrum Solar, the Maryland-based solar installer working on behalf of "Solarize Fairfield," will give student-specific solar presentation and students can win prizes in games that follow the presentation.

Parents who attend are eligible for extra discounts for solar products and can learn more about home energy conservation. Cake and contest prizes will be given out as well.
