Interested in creating a more bikeable, walkable Connecticut -- or more specifically, Fairfield?
Attend tonight's Fairfield Green Drinks at the Shack Hometown Grill to hear more about how to make the community more pedestrian-friendly.
Special guest speakers include spokespeople for Bike Walk Connecticut, the Fairfield Bike Walk Coalition, the Merritt Parkway Trail, the Norwalk River Trail, and Sound Cyclists. Each speaker will give a brief explanation about his or her group and the group's projects.
Following the presentation, there will be time for guests to discuss opportunities to create more walkable, bikeable neighborhoods.
Fairfield Green Drinks is a monthly gathering of people interested in creating a more sustainable community. Tuesday's event takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Register for the event here.
