Electrical Work to Close Exit 22 on I-95 North on July 28

The work is expected to be completed by July 29.

Electrical work at the I-95 rest stop area will close the northbound Exit 22 on July 28.

The state Department of Transportation is performing electrical conduit improvement to the rest stop and the work will only impact the northbound side of the highway.

The work will involve closing the Exit 22 ramp, leading from I-95 to Round Hill Road, as well as the access road at Tomlinson Middle School between Unquowa Road and Round Hill to through traffic on Monday, July 28 from approximately 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and possibly Tuesday, July 29 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., as work is expected to last one or two nights. In the event of poor weather conditions, the schedule will be pushed back to the following night.
