Greater Bridgeport Walk Against Hunger
Register online for Connecticut Food Bank’s 2012 Greater Bridgeport Walk Against Hunger, presented by Webster Bank, at www.ctfoodbank.org/walk. The family-fun event helps Connecticut Food Bank in its mission to alleviate hunger in Connecticut.
The walk is 2.5 to 3 miles long and get under way at 1 p.m. on the following date and location:

Walk participants are supported by family members, friends, colleagues and others prior to the event. Proceeds help Connecticut Food Bank transport, warehouse and distribute donated food to local community agencies such as soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries, and adult and child day centers. Every dollar raised helps Connecticut Food Bank provide three meals to someone in need.
