Fairfield resident, dog handler and trainer Dona Campbell received two awards in late February at the Southern New England Brittany Club (SNEBC) Winter Social.
Two of Campbell's Brittanys were honored as 2012 Dogs of the Year.
Hannah Lyn Campbell -- whose list of titles and accomplishments include Canince Good Citizen, Companion Dog, Therapy Dog, American Kennel Club Rally Excellence, Novice Agility -- received the award of SNEBC 2012 Agility Dog of the Year.
Shady Brook's Rikki Tikki Tavi received the award of SNEBC 2012 Obedience Dog of the year.
When these dogs are not competing, they work as therapy dogs, visiting libraries and nursing homes all over the state.
