Fairfield Public Library to Extend Hours Starting July 1

The library will return to its pre-budget cut hours on Monday.

The Fairfield Public Library will return to its regular (pre-budget cut) hours on Monday, July 1.

"Thank you, our patrons, for your continued support of our budget funding and thanks to all of our elected officials for our budget," the library stated on its Facebook page Friday.

Hours for the Main Library, starting Monday, will be:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: Closed until September

And for the Woods Branch:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: Closed until September
