Five Things, May 22: Learn How to Use Facebook at the Library

Check out "Five Things to Know" each weekday morning to plan your day.  

Here are five things to know about Fairfield for Wednesday, May 22:  

1. The weather.
There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms afternoon. Otherwise, temperatures are expected to reach a high near 80.  

2. Fairfield Ludlowe High School expansion.
The Board of Selectmen is scheduled to vote on the $11.6 million project at a special 4:30 p.m. meeting in Sullivan Independence Hall.  

3. Fairfield Giants Pop Warner open house.
Speak to coaches, parents, board members and alumnae at Roger Ludlowe Middle School from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. to learn about the Fairfield Giants Pop Warner teams.  

4. Melissa Ferrick.
Melissa Ferrick is a "music icon with a voice that's instantly familiar and comfortable." She'll be performing at the Fairfield Theatre Company at 7:30 p.m.  

5. Learn how to use Facebook.
Fairfield Public Library's Merry Uk will give an overview of Facebook and tips to get you started at this noon lecture at the main library
