Five Things, May 30: Band Together

Check out "Five Things to Know" each weekday morning to help plan your day.

Here are five things to know about Fairfield for Thursday, May 30:  

1. The weather.
The morning will start off with patchy fog, but expect sunny skies and temperatures with a high near 87 throughout the day.  

2. Tour Ludlowe and Riverfield schools.
Join members of the Board of Finance as they tour Riverfield Elementary School and Fairfield Ludlowe High School ahead of Tuesday's vote on the schools' expansion and renovation projects. Tours are scheduled to start at Riverfield School (one at 9:30 a.m., the other at 5 p.m.) and then go on to Ludlowe.  

3. Divine desserts.

4. Job search talk for new graduates.
Panelists from the McIntyre Group, a local recruiting company, will host a discussion for recent college graduates looking for jobs at the Fairfield Public Library.  

5. Band Together.
Benefit Operation Hope, the Connecticut Burn Care Foundation, and other local charities while rocking out to music at Fairfield Theatre Company. The pre-party starts at 6:30 p.m.; the concert at 7:30 p.m.
