Library Seeks Children to Tell Jokes at July 20 Event

'Kid's Comedy Club & Open Mic Night' for children who have completed grades 2 through 5

Editor's note: The following news release was received from Fairfield Public Library:

There are still some openings in the Fairfield Children’s Library upcoming “Kid’s Comedy Club & Open Mic Night.”

This program is for kids who have completed grades 2 through 5 and will be held at 7 p.m. July 20 at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Master of Ceremonies will be author and comedian Dottie Bengoyian, also known as “Miss B.”

Participants will get pointers on finding good jokes and riddles, delivery, and audience rapport. If children do not have material to present they may still participate because there will be joke books, riddles, and other entertaining material to present.

Parents are invited to be in the audience, if space allows, for this funny and entertaining event!
