Library's Pre-Summer Book Sale Starts Monday

Sale to Feature a Variety of Books, Videos and CDs; Runs for Two Weeks

The Friends of Fairfield Public Library are holding a special Pre-Summer Book Sale starting Monday and ending May 28. The sale will feature hardback fiction, non-fiction, paperbacks, children's and young adult books as well as videos and compact discs. On May 28, all items will be sold at a rate of $5 for all that can be fit into a bag.

Proceeds raised by the Friends of Fairfield Public Library help to finance special programs in the library, including the popular Soundwaves concert series, art exhibits and One Book One Town.

Hours of Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road in Fairfield Center, are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday; and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday.
