Friends, Family Remember Teddy Gerber at St. Baldrick's Event

The night of fundraising honored Teddy as a St. Baldrick's Ambassador Kid, and raised roughly $100,000 to go toward finding a cure for pediatric cancer.

This weekend, was yet again the site of the annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation event, during which members of the community had their heads shaved, and raised money and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer.

This year , the son of Bill and Jessica Gerber of Fairfield, was chosen as a St. Baldrick’s Ambassador Kid. Teddy passed away in 2010 from a rare pediatric cancer. Hundreds of friends and family joined in honoring Teddy at this year’s St. Baldrick’s event, and nearly 200 of those got their heads shaved. Roughly $100,000 was raised for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation of Friday night in the Osborn Hill Auditorium.
