A towering tree at the corner of Jennings Road and Longfellow was taken down Friday afternoon.
A few nearby residents stopped to watch as a crew from Shelton-based White Hills Landscaping and Tree Service chopped it down.
We caught a quick video of the action -- the crown coming down. The entire tree is now gone.
