Carol Channing 'Conversation' at SHU Postponed

Channing will be unable to make the flight from the West Coast to Connecticut due to complications from a recent injury, according to a representative of the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts.

The Oct. 20 Conversation with American Theatre Legend Carol Channing at Sacred Heart University's Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts has been postponed.

According to a release from the Center's press representative Richard Pheneger, Channing's doctors have advised her against air travel from the West Coast to Connecticut due to complications from a recent injury.

"Carol appreciates everyone's concern and understanding and is looking forward to fulfilling her commitment at a later date," Pheneger said in the release.

A new date for the performance has not been set yet.

Ticket holders should contact the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts Box Office at 203-371-7908, open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
