2nd Annual Hair of the Dog Extravaganza

Two shows!!! 3:00p.m. and 7:00p.m.  Tables sold out fast for both shows, but general seating and standing room is still available!!!

Thanks to the great success of the 1st Annual Hair of the Dog
Extravaganza, we are going to do it all over again, in a different space,...with thicker Irish roots, some new improvements, and a much more affordable bar! What is this anyway you ask? This is a variety show, a party, and a new way to experience St. Patrick's Day.

Moira Speer has been ranked the top Irish step dancer in New England, and among the top in the world. She has since started the Sheeaun Academy in honor of the art form instructing students all over the state.

For the last 4 years, Tim Warren has been touring the country with his band, "The Alternate Routes" performing for thousands of people from coffee shops to Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Featured performers at the Fairfield County Irish Festival; The Lenihan School of Irish Dance has appeared with world renowned entertainers including Cherish the Ladies and Eileen Ivers Band. Fairfield has been home base for them while maintaining classes throughout Connecticut.

Liz McNicholl was born in Co. Meath, Ireland and moved to the United States in 1985, since then she has performed with acclaimed female group, "Cherish the Ladies" and started her band, "The Crickstones", whose sound has been evolving into a crisp blend of folk, Celtic, Americana, and bluegrass music since 2002.

Formed on March 17, 1988 by 1st cousins once removed, Pat Speer and John Hurley, the band "Once Removed" have been described like this: "The Grateful Dead and The Band get drunk, kidnap Bob Dylan, and go to Ireland."

Throw in "The CRIDDERS", a nationally renowned Deaf Theatre group that raised millions of dollars in their 35 year history, and some of the areas best singers, musicians, dancers, and storytellers, and you've got the making of a night to remember.

These are the kind of people who play as hard as they work, and they have come together to combine their considerable
talents to celebrate the weekend, the community and the phenomenon that is St. Patrick's Day. In a performance unlike
anything you've seen, join us for the 2nd Annual Hair of the Dog Extravaganza!
