Fairfield Public Library Writing Contest Winners Announced

Please join the Fairfield Public Library in congratulating this year’s One Book One Town Writing Contest winners.  The winners of the second-annual writing contest will read from their selected works on Tuesday, March 20.  Voices from the Past will be held in the Memorial Room of the Main Library at 7 p.m.

Congratulations to Mary Miner, first place; J. D. Hanninen, second place; Mary Beth Lane, third place; Heather Bean, fourth place and Michael Shapiro, fifth place.  Karen Ronald, Town Librarian received twenty-five contest entries that were submitted in poetry or prose.  Ronald said that the writing submissions were very impressive.
