Visit for family-friendly activities to commemorate the first Thanksgiving from 1-3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26. Visitors can listen to fascinating stories from the Native American diaspora with storyteller Janis Us, and learn about how Thanksgiving was celebrated, what foods were prepared and when it became a national holiday. In addition, guests may create their own rattle or corn husk doll inspired by traditional customs.
This event is free for members and free with admission for non-members. Children 5 and under are free.
