MILL HILL BROWNIE TROOP BOOK DRIVE

Alma Aurilio and her Brownie Troop #30286 of Southport are spearheading their first book drive for Read to Grow, an organization promoting early literacy across Connecticut.

The book drive will take place at Mill Hill Elementary School, at 625 Mill Hill Terrace in Southport, from October 5th to October 12th as part of an anual READ-A-THON. Students are eager to share their love of reading to chidlren who are in need of books. Their goal is to collect one book from each student and they hope to gather over 300 books during that week.

For more information about donating gently-used and new children's books, please contact Mill Hill Elementary School at 203-255-8205.
