On Saturday, April 14th, 2012, HobbyTown USA of Fairfield will host the National Model Contest. Modelers are encouraged to bring their best completed models of cars, aircraft, military vehicles and more. The event is sponsored by the Osprey Publishing and HobbyTown USA stores across the country. HobbyTown USA of Fairfield will select winners in a variety of model categories. There will be both an Adult and Junior Division (age 15 and Under).

Event Schedule: Registration 10:00am -12:00 p.m.; Judging 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.; Awards 1:00 - 1:30 p.m.; Pick Up by 3:00 p.m. Entry Fees are $3.00 for the first entry in each category and $1.50 for additional entries in the same category.

There will be awards in all categories; and models will be displayed at the store for public viewing. The top winners move on to the National Model Contest, competing against winners from all other HobbyTown USA stores. The National winners receive national media recognition, cash and prizes.
