Rat Parade at the Fairfield Libraries

March is One Book One Town month in Fairfield, and to help celebrate we are honoring one of the surprising voices from The Watch That Ends the Night  --  the rat.  You’ve seen them in cities:  brightly painted sculptures of cows, giraffes and other critters decorating street corners.  We’ll do the same and decorate the lowly rat.  It’s not as gross as it sounds, we promise!

The Rat Parade teen program, for grades 7-12, will be offered Wednesday, March 7, 3-4 pm at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road and Wednesday, March 14, 3:30-4:30 pm at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.  Register for this program online at www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or for more information call 203-256-3160.  Pick up a copy of our One Book One Town brochure at the Libraries, or click on the One Book One Town section on our website.
