The Whole Hog

The Whole Hog

On Thursday, May 24th at 6:30pm, four of Connecticut’s superstar chefs with a passion for nourishing neighbors with fresh, locally-grown ingredients will gather at the Clarke Showroom in SoNo for a delectable evening of wine, vine and swine! Tim LaBant of the Schoolhouse at Cannondale restaurant in Wilton, John Barricelli of SoNo Baking Company in South Norwalk, Bun Lai of Miya's Sushi in New Haven and Joe Wolfson, the new executive chef of Terrain Garden Café in Westport will creatively prepare and serve inspired free-range pork creations and offer a few sneak peeks of their seasonal offerings. Guests will literally go “whole hog,” sampling unique culinary interpretations, while supporting Wholesome Wave, a non-profit dedicated to making healthy local food accessible to everyone. This highly anticipated event will be hosted by Michel Nischan, internationally renowned chef, author, owner of The Dressing Room, and co-founder and president of Wholesome Wave. Attendees will go hog wild over the options at the live auction. Tickets are $145 per person and can be purchased online at www.wholesomewave.org/getinvolved or by calling 203.226.1112.
