The Fairfield Board of Selectmen honored six Fairfield high school students at their board meeting last week.
The six students were selected as members of the 2013 National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All National Band and Mixed Choir. They joined more than 670 of the most musically talented and skilled high school students in the United States to perform at a gala concert on Oct. 30, 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Selectmen issued a certificate of congratulations to Eliza Wiant (Choir-Soprano) from Fairfield Ludlowe High School; and from Fairfield Warde High School: Zachary Roberge (Bass-Choir); Evelynne Fulda (Alto- Choir), Connor Levinson, (French Horn- Band), Liam Russell (Trombone- Band), and Joseph Sugrue (Tenor Sax- Band).
