Description: Attend a Zumba master class; get cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training and learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED); buy from the “Andy Smiles Forever Store”; participate in the raffle of a high-end Ultrabook and other great prizes; bid in a silent auction—all at the "Andy Smiles Forever" fundraising event.

Cost: Admission is free

Description: "Come see the opening of a unique art, prints and textiles exhibit and shop elegant product from across the Continent. Sales benefit Thanda's work to care for and educate HIV/AIDS orphans in South Africa and Unite's work to advance women's health, education and microfinance programs across East Africa."

Description: Many treasures including Dutch heirlooms, dishware, vases, figurines and even wooden shoes. Games, books, small furniture, consignment quality childrens' clothing and more. No early birds, please.

Where: Jennings Beach, 880 South Benson Road, Fairfield

Thursday, April 25, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., Friday, April 26, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 1 p.m. - 10 p.m., and Sunday, April 28, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Varies. Wristbands will be available for purchase all Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, as well as from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.

Description: Greenwich Recycling Advisory Board and Greenwich Green & Clean with The First Bank of Greenwich & Santaguida Sanitation are holding the shred fest for sensitive documents and papers.

Description: The Emergency Animal Response Service (EARS) was formed based on similar efforts undertaken with specialized teams dedicated to animals in disasters. Members of EARS have the specialized expertise, knowledge, training, and resources in both animal and emergency response fields to provide a dedicated focus on animals in need during disasters. Learn how to prepare your family's pet before disaster strikes.

Description: With a cast of over fifty people, the 1970’s Best Musical Tony Award Winning super soul musical version L. Frank Baum’s of "The Wizard of Oz" with Music and Lyrics by Charlie Smalls has a Book by William F. Brown and features the songs Ease on down the Road and Everybody Rejoice.

Description: Art called steampunk has influenced everything from product design to fashion to fine art and will be on display at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum.

The best middle school and high school band around will rock out at the Playhouse during Ridgefield BandJam 2013. What began as a charity event for The Playhouse has become a much anticipated competition where middle school and high school students perform before a panel of industry professionals for the title of BandJam Winner. Description: Feeling lost in their marriages and within the rapidly shifting social currents of post-WWI London, two unhappy middle-class housewives rent a villa in Italy for an impulsive holiday away from their everyday lives, reluctantly recruiting a pair of independent upper-class women to share the cost and experience. Description: The entry fee covers bait, everyone is encouraged to bring their own rod, and it is spin fishing only so no license is needed. The pond is freshly stocked, and the fish are expected to be biting!
