Description: Join us for a day of funk, blues, rock and soul featuring the best lineup of local bands ever assembled on one stage, all to benefit the My Sandy Hook Family Fund.

Description: Come hear the area's favorite party band, Pimpinella play at a fundraising event at the Darien VFW. They'll be playing all your favorites from the 70s & 80s.

Description: Join faciitator Randy Brody for an uplifting evening of playing hand drums and other percussion instruments. Release stress, laugh and make joyful noise. Drums provided or bring your own drum.

Description: Join community members for a hands-on nature preserve clean up event at the Mueller Preserve located on the corner of Round Hill Road and Old Mill Road from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. Lunch generously provided by Whole Foods Greenwich.

Where: First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich, 1 W. Putnam Ave., Greenwich When: Sunday, April 21, 2013, 2 p.m.
Cost: Fundraiser. 
Description: The Fourth Annual Greenwich/Port Chester Crop Hunger Walk raises funds to combat hunger around the world with one-fourth of the funds raised from each walk are returned by CWS to the local community, with Neighbor to Neighbor in Greenwich and Carver Center in Port Chester each sharing a portion of the funds raised and of the food donated on Walk Day.

Description: Alabama native Matthew Houck has delivered five albums as Phosphorescent since his 2003 debut. Now, his latest album, "Muchacho," flashes yet another color in the subtly shifting Phosphorescent spectrum. All proceeds from this show will go to benefit the restoration and renovation of the Edmond Town Hall.  Come out, support Newtown, and enjoy the show!

Description: The Clover Hill School announces a concert featuring classical pianists Jeb Dennis and Neng-Bin Shih. The concert will feature selections from Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade," with guest artist Alexandra McLaughlin reading tales from "One Thousand and One Nights." A reception will follow the concert.

WhereSt. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Ridgefield
Cost: Free, $10 donation welcome
Description: St. Stephen's Parish Organist, Frank Zilinyi, will give a recital on Sunday, April 21st at 4:00 PM in the sanctuary.  The program will include works of J.S. Bach, Max Reger, Cesar Franck, Nicolas de Grigny, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, and John Knowles Paine.  The church organ is a 1963 Moeller organ designed by former St. John the Divine and St. Stephen's organist Alec Wyton, is well suited to the wonderful acoustics of the sanctuary.

Description: Bandmates include Vicki Ferrara, recording artists Beth Bradley and Marion Najamy, bass player Randy Stuckless and David Boskello on the trumpet. Stuckless had played with the legendary Chuck Berry and Ferrara was in the 80's band, Troupe Di Coupe, of New York City fame.

Description: A craft festival will take place in the ballroom at the Courtyard by Marriott in Shelton.

Where: Stamford Museum & Nature Center

Description: Head to the Observatory on selected Friday nights for a treat as the night sky, planets, stars, and more are explored.

Description: Join high school student, Samantha Holmes, National Child Awareness Month Ambassador winner, for a fun and educational series of hikes. Learn about tick safety and local plants so that children can safely enjoy the great outdoors.

Description: Come watch a movie with the Weston Library. Bring your lunch. Caregivers must remain with children.

Description: The Drum Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a Victorian Tea. The tea is a fundraising social event with a portion of the proceeds going to the chapter’s scholarship fund. Tickets for a raffle with three amazing prizes will be sold.
