Catch an Oscar-Nominated Film In and Around Fairfield

It's not too late to make sure you've seen all nine Best Picture nominees.

Film fans needing to catch up on the Academy Award-nominated movies before Oscar Sunday are in luck—several of the Best Picture nominees are still playing.

There are nine films contending for the Academy's top honor at the 85th Oscars:

Buoyed by its Golden Globe win, Argo is considered the front-runner for Best Picture by many Hollywood watchers. Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty are also in the mix.

The Academy Awards air Sunday at 7 p.m. on ABC.

Movie buffs can download the free Oscars App. The app promises a "backstage pass" on Oscar Sunday, including the ability to control which awards show camera angles the user views and tips on how to throw a great Oscar-viewing party. One bar manager came up with five drinks inspired by Oscar nominees.
