Contemporary and Chic Thanksgiving Flower arrangements

When you think of Thanksgiving what comes to mind? Turkey, sweet potatoes, cream corn? If you’re reading this, you know a Thanksgiving table doesn’t just include food — you have to have flowers, too. Here are four ideas for chic Thanksgiving centerpieces.

Succulents are fun and trendy.They add a completely new twist to any table. Here, we added a modern theme to our Thanksgiving feast with brightly colored plates and a long row of succulents clustered down the middle of the table.

Pumpkins and gourds aren’t a new concept for Thanksgiving table decorations, and I love using them to hold flowers. Just carve the gourd or pumpkin, stick in a vase and fill the vase with flowers. For a chic look, I look for white pumpkins and other most interesting gourds.  Just check out the simplicity of this table setting — and notice the use of white pumpkins.

Wheat, dried grasses and pheasant feathersare fun and interesting accents for floral arrangements, and can also be used to create dramatic monobotanic designs.

An eclectic array of family vases lining a family table can hold special meaning. Take the vases to your florist who can fill them with customized arrangements of flowers matching your home style and family’s personality. Très chic.
