How to kiss and make up!

Tried and true ways to kiss and make up with that special someone!

Have you had an argument with your other half? It can be really hard to get things back on track, and nobody likes fighting. Here are my top six ways to kiss and make up after a fight, but remember to be polite, patient and understanding, or you are likely to start the fight again!

1. SHOW THEM YOU LOVE THEM.

How do you usually show that you love them? Try something different. Cook their favourite food, treat them to a back rub, run them a bath. Whatever you choose, displaying your love is sure to melt their heart

2. COOK!

Romantic dinners are perfect for making up after fights, even if you are a terrible cook. Get candles, romantic music, dim the lights, Cook their favourite food (or order their favorite take out!) Putting so much effort in is sure to banish your fight to the past.

3. LEARN FROM THE ARGUMENT!

Always having the same argument? Make sure you acknowledge what you did wrong, and try to improve yourself. If both partners do this, soon enough you’ll argue much less frequently, and be much more in tune with each other.

4. LEARN TO LAUGH AT YOURSELF!

The world is a much better place if you have a sense of humour! Remember that your partner won’t be trying to annoy you on purpose, and take some time out for yourself (like a bath, or a walk) if you feel yourself starting to get annoyed. Learning to avoid arguments is a brilliant skill!

5. MAKE SURE YOU ARE FRIENDS.

It can be easy to stop listening when you’ve been in a relationship a while. Take some time every week to just listen, and be a friend. Talk about hopes, ambitions, wants and worries, and make sure you are both aiming for the same target.

6. FLOWERS!

Add some romantic flowers to the mix, whether you’re a guy or a girl.

No matter who they are or whether they are a guy or girl, your sweety will love a gift of romantic flowers from you after a fight.  Just take care to send them to a location that won’t embarrass them, like at work, if you want your “kiss and make up” session to go smoothly.

Forgive me, I guess I don't quite see how we are 1 million over budget? What financials are youRead More referring too? The third quarter statement of account? Was last year the year the BOE returned $ to the town? Absolutely agree with you about the middle school, we need more STEM offerings. Right now high schoolers are required to show they are proficient in Microsoft Office. Many take a semester long course to help prepare for the test (seems like that time could be better spent). Other students just take the proficiency test. Seems like this can be something that can be addressed earlier than high school. Why not offer the course to 8th graders, and let them show they are proficient in Microsoft Office before they even get to high school.

It seems apparent to me as I watch children getting picked up in the morning by school buses thatRead More there is some stream lining that could be done with the school bus budget. There are at least five separate buses that pick up children in front of my hose on Jennings road each morning 4 of which are all elementary. Can all these children in a two block radius go to different schools and if they do why. all the buses are almost empty when they pick up these children. Why then potentially are we paying all this money for buses when less can be used?

For flat, easy terrain, the beach area and old post road offer the best situations. On weekendsRead More you'll find plenty of bike riders in the area so you'll have some company and there is plenty of scenery. Also, there are a couple of multi-use off-road paths located at Ash Creek (near Fairfield Metro Station) and Pine Creek.

Hi, there are lots of beautiful trails in CT. Creeky, the condos were 65 luxury units, and there were no low income or affordable housingRead More included. We do not accept the alternative of industrial versus overly dense huge condos looming over our homes. Is there any new industrial activity likely in Fairfield? Industrial is leaving and not coming here, especially to a polluted site like Thorpe Street. We expect the property owner to come back with a more reasonable residential development that we can support because it will integrate into our neighborhood.

Does anyone know if low income housing is included in the proposal? Also, I'm curious, would theRead More neighbors prefer industrial development to condominiums?
