How To Care for a Flower Arrangement

There's a knock on your door!
You answer it!
There's someone standing there with a beautiful flower arrangement
for you,( hopefully from your Local Florist).

How do you take care of the Flower arrangement once you receive it!

First place it somewhere thats not directly in the sun.
never place it directly in front of a heating vent or on top of a heated platform.

Always check for water, a floral arrangement will drink a lot of water in the first 24 hour period when the flowers are fresh, check once in the morning and also in the evening. Also make sure floral food was added to the water to extend the life of the flowers. 

If your Floral arrangement was delivered to you in a vase, the Local Florist has already added floral food to the water. After 3 or 4 day's bring it over to your kitchen sink and run water into the vase while tilting a little to filter the water for about 1 minute, this will extend the life of the arrangement.
as water sits for days bacteria starts to grow which lessens the life of the flowers.

As some of your flowers start to putter out(different variety of flowers have different life spans) just take them out of the arrangement and enjoy whats left. Most fresh flower arrangements will last from 7 to 14 day's depending on the placement and temperature of your home.

So sit back and enjoy the fragrance and beauty of your Flower arrangement.
