"Stuff a Truck" at Stop & Shop Locations This Weekend to Benefit Homeless

Visit Stop & Shop this Saturday, July 28th, 10:00am – 4:00pm and help Bridgeport Rescue Mission feed your hungry neighbors in coastal Fairfield County!

Please stop, shop and Stuff a Truck and join other Mission friends and partners in feeding our hungry neighbors throughout coastal Fairfield County!

Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s food pantry is running low.

On July 28, Mission staff and volunteers will be at area Stop & Shop supermarkets from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to collect items the Mission needs most. I’ve listed the items below, as well as the specific store locations where we’ll have a truck ready to be stuffed.

If you can help, bring a bag or two of groceries to your favorite Stop & Shop stores—or buy them there as you purchase your own groceries. You’ll feel good knowing someone on the streets, a weary mom and her youngsters, a senior citizen on a limited income and so many other struggling people will have a nutritious meal tonight and tomorrow because you care.
