Cargo Bay Closing Its Doors in Fairfield

Cargo Bay will be closing its doors after 13 years on the Post Road in Fairfield.

Owner Iona Eden (on the left in the photo) decided not to renew her lease for the women's clothing store at 1561 Post Road.

As far as her future plans go, there's "nothing concrete" at this point, Eden said.

She'll be spending time with her children and going on a "sabbatical" of sorts.

There's no set closing date yet for Cargo Bay, but fans should stop by to bid Eden farewell before the doors close for good.
