Annual Scandinavian Midsummer Celebration in Fairfield Saturday June 23rd

Saturday, June 23rd 2012 the Annual Scandinavian Midsummer Celebration will be held at the Scandinavian Club,
1351 South Pine Creek Road in Fairfield. The event will begin at 11 AM. Bring
flowers from your garden to add to the already decorated Maypole. We will raise
the Maypole around 11:30 AM and begin dancing the traditional Scandinavian
dances with the children led by Swedish accordionist and club member Wivan
Sundman. Hotdogs, coffee, lemonade will be sold. We like to ask anybody to bring
a nice item for the raffle table to donate, (something nice or fun you would
like to win). Bring your own chair if you like. This all ages event has is no
admission charge although donations will be greatly appreciated. Non-members are
invited and encouraged to attend! THERE IS NO RAIN DATE FOR THIS EVENT, IN CASE
