The 11th Annual Cooking for CASA fundraiser -- an evening of exquisite foods and wines from the New Haven area's finest establishments -- will take place on Wednesday, May 9, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Amarante's Sea Cliff (62 Cove Street) in New Haven.

CASA stands for Court-Appointed Special Advocate. "Cooking for CASA" supports the work of Children in Placement, Connecticut's only CASA program.

Children in Placement's mission: "Children In Placement facilitates judicial review of cases involving abused and neglected children. Our goal is to see every child in Connecticut in a safe and permanent home, preparing for life outside of a state system."

Enjoy a night of food, good music, and wine while benefiting thousands of children across the state.

For more information about Children in Placement and to purchase tickets for "Cooking for CASA," -- only $50 per person -- visit Children in Placement's website
