The votes are in and it's not too surprising that six restaurants in Fairfield have been ranked among the best in Connecticut by food critics -- three more have earned honorable mentions.
According to the 2013 Best Restaurants rankings by Connecticut Magazine, Paci Restaurant in Southport and Liana's Trattoria are among the top five best Italian restaurants in Connecticut.
Liana's also earned an honorable mention for best desserts.
Both Pizzeria MOLTO and Barcelona were among the top five restaurants awarded "Best Appetizers."
Among the five best places for Asian cuisine in Connecticut is Shiki Hana Japanese Bistro. Artisan in Southport earned its place among the best in hotel dining.
Honorable mentions were given to The Chelsea for best new restaurant, Bodega for best value, and The Stand Juice Co. for best vegetarian/vegan place.
