The space that once housed Liquid Lunch on Fairfield's Brick Walk promenade will soon be home to Mecha Noodle Bar, a new venture launched by the owners of Danbury's Pho Vietnam.
According to the storefront banner and Mecha's website, the noodle bar is coming "really soon!"
Mecha Noodle Bar's mission is to bring "Asia's soul food to your neighborhood," and to transform the idea of a simple noodle shop into a "trendy, communal gastropub."
Once the work is done to transform the space into Mecha Noodle Bar, the former Liquid Lunch site will look simple and sleek, with lots of light wood and an open kitchen, according to a video on the noodle bar's website.
Customers should feel like they've been transported to the night markets of Southeast Asia, according to the video.
Patch will provide updates on the opening of Mecha Noodle Bar and its menu as they become available.
