Readers' Choice: Best Burger

Tell us what you love about your favorite burger in Fairfield and help us crown a winner in the all-important 'Best Burger' category!

The best burger in town -- everyone has an opinion on it, so we’re thinking this week’s Readers’ Choice contest in Fairfield is sure to generate a lot of great discussion on Patch.

Based on what you tell us, we’ll declare our 2012 Readers’ Choice winner in the category at 12 p.m. Friday. What's extra-special about this week's contest is that the Fairfield winner will be invited to participate in a Best Burger in CT contest that will run later this summer!

Please remember our contest rules (attached as PDF) and note especially that telling us why you love your favorite burger (juiciness, presentation, toppings, atmosphere, staff?) by posting a rating and review on its directory listing (just click on the link below) is even more important in determining a winner than casting a poll vote.

Don’t see your favorite burger spot listed? Tell us in the comments below. And if you’re a business owner who hasn’t , do so now!

Wasting no more time, here’s our list, please click on the listing to post a rating for Readers’ Choice:

  • Five Guys Burgers and Fries
  • Brennan's Shebeen
  • (Post Road)
  • (Black Rock Tpke)

Hey, Marilyn. When's the party?

It appears the same person voted over and over again for Old Post Tavern.

RS, that does sound a little fishy. The difference in vote totals between the #1 Old Post Tavern and the #2 Flipside is 260 votes. Am I the only one that finds that suspicious? And Old Post Tavern for the best burger in town? Why hasn't that ever been written about or spoken about before this survey. Fairfield Patch, if you don't want to lose all credibility, discard this poll. As it is clearly fraudulent.
