Starbucks on Black Rock Turnpike Getting Makeover

The construction company says doors are expected to reopen on Thursday.

The Starbucks on Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield is getting a facelift.

The coffee shop, tucked between Poster's Hardware and the shopping center whose most visible tenants include Gap and Old Navy, is expected to reopen on Thursday, according to Mike Royer, owner of the Rochester, NY-based construction company working on the project.

Wifi users can also get amped up because one of the features of the improved look will be more electrical outlets, Royer said Tuesday morning while working at the 2171 Black Rock Turnpike building.
