The Town will hold a drawing next week to announce the winners of several prizes that were donated by local businesses and organizations for Fairfield's second annual Restaurant Week.
The drawing will be held on Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. in the second floor conference room in Independence Hall, 725 Old Post Road, according to First Selectman Mike Tetreau.
“I am so pleased that the Town of Fairfield has held another successful Restaurant Week,” said Tetreau. “I would like to thank all of the restaurants, retailers, prize donors and sponsors, as well as the businesses, community groups and organizations that held cultural events, for making Fairfield’s second annual Restaurant Week a true success. I also wish to thank everyone who frequented our fine shops and restaurants and hope they had an enjoyable time. I hope next year’s Restaurant Week will be even more successful.”
First Selectman Tetreau, Community and Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart, Robert Hojnacki, Director of Business Development and First Vice President at Bankwell, which was one of Restaurant Week’s top sponsors, and Tommy Febbraio, an owner of The Gray Goose, which donated the top prize—$500 cash---courtesy of The Gray Goose and Little Goose Restaurants, will join the First Selectman to select the winners.
In addition to announcing the winner of the top prize, winners of the following additional prizes will also be announced: the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, The Field House at Fairfield Sportsplex, The Fairfield Theatre Company, Fairfield Ice Academy, She3 Well-Fitness Boutique, Fit Club, Carabiner’s Indoor Climbing, Fairfield University Bookstore, Mo’s Wine & Spirits, Fairfield Pilates, World Champion Taekwondo, Gymnastics & Cheerleading Academy of CT, Island Outfitters, LaModa Fashions, Chic Jolie, Vintage Garden, Café Madeline, Loft, Sweet Rexie’s, Coreen’s Bridge Floral Shop, Jennifer Butler, Apricot Lane, and the Fairfield Museum & History Center.
