You've got nothing to lose and an audience to gain. After you submit your photo of your holiday display on Patch—starting December 8—Patch users can then vote on the Best Decked House in their neighborhood. The winner of that will represent our towns in the national contest.

Then, Patch judges will vote on the winners from all 860 Patch towns nationwide and select 24 finalists who will compete at the national level. The 24 finalists each will have their electric bills paid by Patch for the month of December, up to $500.

The contest officially begins on Dec. 8 so stay tuned.
